Place had a good selection of beers and the bartender was very friendly. Was nice to find a brewery away from the craziness of downtown St. Augustine. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of beers liked the laid back atmosphere.
The bartender was so sweet!! I didn’t like any of the beers they had posted on their signs (I am a sour and cider fan). The bartender came up to me later and said that they had ciders and sours available if I wanted to try any. I got a pineapple cider and it was absolutely delicious!! Will definitely be back :)
I'm hesitant on how to rate this place. There are two Ancient City Brewing tap rooms. We were not in Saint Augustine, but the one off of the 16. We did visit around 10 p.m. so there was about an hour left till closing. It seems like the bartender was the only one there to serve everyone. She was very attentive, but never checked back in with us to see how we like to the beers. Also she never had any kind of conversation with us at all. The location was odd and the atmosphere inside was almost like an office with the choice to play darts. The beer was great and the flavors were really good. If the service could be better and the location could be better, it would deserve 5-stars.
Very cool place, definitely stop in for a beer when visiting this area! Bartender was awesome. Inside was very nice and clean too! Definitely will return!
Very friendly staff. Talked with one of the brewers along with the bartender. Beer was good. Had a flight, a couple samples and a couple pints. Liked all of them except the key lime. Place is a little hard to find due to no signs but worth the effort while in the area.
Nice place. When you arrive, there is a huge indoor area with picnic tables and chairs, don't be confused. There are 2 additional separate entry doors that lead you into the brewery where there is plenty of indoor, nicely air-conditioned seating. They DO NOT allow pets inside unless they are service dogs. Size does not matter, NO dogs. We were here on 9.28.19 and this place was hoping by 230pm. Unreal. That was odd but clearly they are doing "lots" correctly. My husband had 4 samples, 5 IPA pints and I had 2 pints of the Strawberry Fields Copper Ale, EXCELLENT. Definitely would return.
Went to this brewery yesterday afternoon and was greeted by a friendly bartender and atmosphere. They have around 10-12 different beer options with varying tastes but I chose the Diamant IPA and it was very nice. We played a round of cricket on one of their 2 dartboards and just hung out with a couple friends to chat it up before catching some late lunch in St. Augustine. The furniture is very nice and the bathrooms were kept clean. I would definitely come back.
Great beer definitely a nice place to chill and have a few with friends . Only issue you don’t stock and extra large shirts I’m still disappointed . When you do get more please send me one 😃 …
